A downloadable game for Windows

You are a lowly blob of scum trying to survive in the sewers, consuming any trash you come across. While travelling down one of the systems, you find your natural enemy: the Council of Rats. And they have a ton of garbage! They're not going to hand it over quietly, though. Looks like you'll just have to take it from them. It is survival of the fittest, after all...

Features

  • Become your very own scum with customisable colours of your body and eyes,  and a choice between over 10 accessories!
  • Grow and shrink between three different sizes to get past obstacles and eliminate any threat that comes in your way! Become small to fit through tight spaces, medium to platform accurately or large to destroy crates and similar obstacles.
  • Explore incredible environments including: sewers!
  • ~154% MORE rats!
  • Collect trash cans! Yeah, it's weird to be picking up trash cans in a sewer but why not? What happens when you collect them all?
  • Secrets to find! No, I'm not giving hints. Find them yourself.
  • Lore! Yes, we actually gave this demo lore.

Why Did We Make This "Game?"

Have you ever looked at a game and thought "Why can't I play as a literal orb of scum?" The most likely answer is "Of course not." Well, we made one anyway, all in the name of inclusivity.

Video games nowadays have incredible customisation systems in place that allow the player to put whomever they want in the game, attributes including: gender; skin colour; voices; breast size; the list goes on and on. But there's one problem with these: they don't include scum as an option. So here we are, doing what bigger studios probably wouldn't.

We made this game demo as part of our college course, particularly the final project of the year, taking 20 weeks to make. Is it perfect? No. Not by a long shot. It's a demo. What do you expect?
